Learn Build Reusable AI Productivity Workflows
Map the current task
Describe the task as it is done today: what starts it, what information is needed, what output is expected, and who approves the result. Separate repetitive formatting or drafting from judgment that requires context, expertise, or accountability.
Choose a bounded AI step
A tool might categorize fictional feedback, suggest an outline, or turn approved notes into a draft. Define what it must not do. Use only data permitted by the service and organization, and remove personal details from practice inputs.
Design checkpoints
Decide how a person will check accuracy, completeness, tone, and policy before the output is used. Define a stop condition for missing information, uncertainty, unexpected content, or tool failure. Keep a manual path available.
Measure usefulness, not novelty
Compare the workflow against the current task using practical criteria such as editing effort, error rate, consistency, and user impact. Record limitations and revise the template only after reviewing real, authorized evidence.
